Refund, Cancellation & Return Policy

At Focus Art Gallery, each artwork is selected, handled, packed, and delivered with care. Many of our artworks are original, unique, limited-edition, or specially prepared for individual customers. Our refund and cancellation policy therefore reflects the nature of art and bespoke framing.

1. No Cancellation

Once an order has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled by the customer.

This applies to original artworks, paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures, limited-edition works, bespoke framing, customised orders, and other items specifically reserved or prepared for the customer.

Customers are requested to carefully review the artwork, dimensions, specifications, framing requirements, delivery address, and other order details before confirming their purchase.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

2. No Refund for Change of Mind

Focus Art Gallery does not ordinarily offer refunds or returns for:

• Change of mind

• Personal preference

• Incorrect selection by the customer

• Change in colour or design preference

• Change in intended display location

• Incorrect measurements or specifications provided by the customer

• A decision not to use or display the artwork

• Any other reason attributable to the customer

3. When a Refund or Remedy May Apply

A refund, replacement, repair, or other appropriate remedy may be considered where the issue is demonstrably attributable to Focus Art Gallery, subject to verification and applicable law.

This may include:

• An incorrect artwork being supplied

• A materially incorrect item being supplied

• A significant error in fulfilling the confirmed order

• Damage attributable to inadequate preparation or handling by the Gallery

• A confirmed defect or issue for which the Gallery is responsible

The Gallery will review each matter individually before determining the appropriate resolution.

4. Artwork Variations

Artworks are inherently individual. Minor differences between images displayed on the website and the physical artwork may occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings, colour reproduction, natural material variations, texture, and artistic technique.

Such normal variations do not ordinarily constitute grounds for a refund.

5. Bespoke Framing

Bespoke framing is individually designed and produced according to the customer's approved requirements.

Once production has commenced, a bespoke framing order cannot be cancelled or returned because of a change in preference.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the selected frame, mount or mat, glazing, dimensions, finish, colour, and other specifications before production.

Where an error is demonstrably attributable to Focus Art Gallery, the Gallery will assess the matter and determine an appropriate remedy.

6. Damaged Artwork or Framing

If an artwork or framed piece arrives damaged, please contact us promptly after delivery.

Customers should retain the original packaging and provide photographs or videos showing the packaging, shipping labels, artwork, frame, and damage.

The Gallery will assess the matter and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant logistics provider or insurer.

7. Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method.

The time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the relevant bank or payment provider.

8. International Orders

International orders remain subject to applicable customs, import, shipping, insurance, and destination-country requirements.

Customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, and other destination-country charges are generally the responsibility of the customer and are not ordinarily refundable by Focus Art Gallery.
